The Inner City Health and Wellness Program Grand Rounds is a self-approved group learning activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.


Presented by Sara Gill, RN BSN. Sara is a Registered Nurse and the Provincial Educator for Harm Reduction Services at Alberta Health Services. She is passionate about improving health care experiences for people impacted by substance use through promotion of a compassionate, non-stigmatizing approach, and advocating for access to life-saving, evidence-based harm reduction services within the continuum of care.

Dr. Dong is Medical Director of the Inner City Health and Wellness Program & ARCH Team, and a clinical professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Alberta. Dr. Hyshka is Scientific Director of the Inner City Health and Wellness Program and an assistant professor at the University of Alberta School of Public Health.
